Why Choose an Intensive Driving Course?
Most learners in Leeds spend six to twelve months getting to their test. An intensive course compresses that into days or weeks — the same DVSA syllabus, delivered in concentrated blocks instead of one hour a week.
- Pass in days or weeks, not months
- Ideal when you need a licence for a job
- No forgetting between weekly lessons
- Honest assessment before you commit
- Manual and automatic courses available
- Use of our car for your practical test
- DVSA-approved instructors throughout

One-Week Intensive Course
A full week of consecutive daily driving, built for complete beginners with a firm deadline. We assess you before you commit and tell you honestly whether a week is realistic — we would rather lose the booking than take money for a test you are not ready for.
Call 07856 200402 for current course prices and availability.
Semi-Intensive & Refresher Courses
A gentler pace spread over two to three weeks, or a shorter refresher course if you have driven before, hold an overseas licence, or already have a test booked and just need polish before the day.
Call 07856 200402 for current course prices and availability.
Automatic Intensive Courses
We run intensive courses in automatic cars as well as manual, with several automatic instructors across Leeds. Automatic intensives often need fewer hours, because there is no clutch control or gear changing to learn.

Intensive Driving Courses in Leeds – Frequently Asked Questions
How much is an intensive driving course in Leeds?
It depends on how many hours you need — a short refresher costs considerably less than a full one-week beginner course. All our courses include use of our car for the practical test. Call 07856 200402 and we will quote you honestly once we know your experience level. The DVSA test fees (£62 practical, £23 theory) are paid separately to the DVSA.
How long does an intensive driving course take?
Anywhere from two days to three weeks depending on the hours you need. A one-week course runs across consecutive days; a semi-intensive spreads the same hours over two to three weeks at a gentler pace.
Can I pass my driving test in a week?
Yes, if you already have some experience and can get a test slot in the right week. Complete beginners passing in a week is possible but uncommon — most need a semi-intensive over two to three weeks.
Do I need to pass my theory test first?
Yes. You cannot book a practical test without a theory pass. Tell us when you call and we will plan the course around your theory date.
Do you offer guaranteed pass courses?
No, and be careful of any Leeds school that does. No instructor can guarantee an examiner’s decision. What we guarantee is honest assessment before you book and enough hours to be genuinely test-ready.
Which test centre will I use?
Usually Horsforth (LS18 5NY) or Colton Mill (LS15 9JN), depending on where you live and which has availability.
